Secrets

Synopsis:

Everybody's got secrets. Especially in the glamorous world of Beverly Hill, California. When you run a high priced call girl service like Ashlyn Gere, you get to see inside the individual secret worlds of the high and the mighty and watch them spend money, watch them spy and watch them have sex. In "Secrets", there's plenty of the latter with just enough of the rest to make it all interesting.

Commentary:

Andrew Blake films are just that, films. This is a 35mm production that is transferred to DVD for your viewing pleasure by the folks from DaViD. Consider it a movie, one with an extremely high caliber group of female stars, an incredibly sophisticated jazz score and some beautiful imagery. Like its soundtrack, "Secrets" is a jazzy journey that pulls you in with its lush and sensual style. Now, not everyone will like this approach, but if you're curious.... read on.

We start off with Ashlyn riding around in a Rolls Royce (this is Beverly Hills) talking about her life in the fast world of escorting. She goes back to an apartment where one of her Hollywood Hunks quickly begins to munch on her "secret" place and finger fuck her a bit. As this action unfolds, an unknown stranger is taking photos from a distance with a spy camera. When he's done with his lunch it's her turn to eat his uncut appetizer. She then gets a might pounding on the tasteful leather couch before he lets fly all over her face. Erotically photographed, this scene may just get your partner interested in the adult genre. Stay tuned as Ashlyn, back in the Rolls, pull out a diamond bracelet from deep inside herself. A very special moment that gives the statement "Diamonds are a girls best friend" a whole new meaning!

The film journeys next to another interesting scene as we watch a little orgy unfold through the lens of a telescope. Four women and one guy are in our viewfinder which strays gently from face to face and body to body. The camera caresses the participants and then rolls this way and that with an eye for those areas that matter most. The lovely one looking through the telescope gets turned on with us as we watch the action together. As she caresses herself, she is eventually joined by our Hollywood friend (Rocco) again. The eventually screw outdoors on the balcony that was their viewing perch with all of LA in the background. Wish I had a telescope for that one.

Peter North than plays a Navy Spy that gets to play with one of our escorts. He slowly works his way up her body, licking her feet etc. on the way up before she takes the lead and opens his fly to service his torpedo. This, too, is more eroticism than just sex and Peter must set a personal best when he shoots half the Pacific Ocean all over her face. Actually, he misses her face. The stream is just too damn powerful.

Much more sex follows including a 2 separate girl-girl scenes, one 3-way (all girls) and one 3-way (1 guy and 2 girls). You also get to see a big studio executive take it to a sweet virgin. Seems his "secret" is to always pop the cherry.

DVD Perspectives:

Here's the rub, as beautifully photographed as this flick was, I missed the crystal clear imagery that is seen on many direct to video productions. Film tends to soften and add depth but it also loses a bit of the clarity. This is a matter of personal taste and I know many folks that prefer the look of film, it's just that I missed seeing every nook and cranny. The music score and sound were in a class by themselves. But you gotta like jazz. The DVD extras were lacking in terms of just getting a text based chapter search and cast list.
